DO YOU CLAIM TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD?
“If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.” 1 John 1:6 (NIV)
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.” John 16:13 (NIV)
God is Light.
“This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.” 1 John 1:5 (NIV)
DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS A SINNER?
“If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His Word is not in us.” 1 John 1:10 (NIV)
“If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth…If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:6, 8 (NIV)
JESUS’ BLOOD CLEANSES YOU FROM ALL SIN.
“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 (NIV)
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (NIV)
“‘He Himself bore our sins’ in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by His wounds you have been healed.’” 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
